Robert and Guy are former Chief General Counsels of the Australian Government Solicitor and co-authors of Sawer’s The Australian Constitution (3rd ed). Robert is currently Special Counsel at the Australian Government Solicitor and a Senior Member of the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Robert and Guy have extensive experience advising the Commonwealth Government on significant and complex public law issues, including on constitutional and administrative law and statutory interpretation. They have been closely involved in the development of many significant legislative reforms and initiatives and have represented the Commonwealth Government and its agencies before a wide range of courts and tribunals, including the High Court and Federal Court.
