The Qld Chapter of the AACL is delighted to present our first event for 2026:
"Statutory Interpretation and the Constitution"
Our speakers are:
Dr Julian Murphy, who will present on his new book Constitutionally Protective Statutory Interpretation; and
- Professor Lisa Burton Crawford, who will address the topic of statutory interpretation and provide commentary on Dr Murphy's book.
And our Chair for the evening will be Tony Keyes, Queensland Parliamentary Counsel.
The event will be held online via Microsoft Teams, on 21 May 2026 from 5-6pm. Details are in the attached flyer and registration is here:
