Conference Theme: Natural Law and Legal Obligation

Keynote Speakers: Michael Detmold, University of Adelaide, Kenneth Einar Himma, Seattle Pacific University, Fred D. Miller, Bowling Green State University, Mark C. Murphy, Georgetown University 

The conference includes a book symposium devoted to the recently published book by Tony Connolly (Australian National University) entitled Cultural Difference on Trial: The Nature and Limits of Judicial Understanding (Ashgate, 2010).

The conference will be preceded on Friday morning by a half day workshop for PhD students and early career researchers in legal philosophy and related areas. Submissions are invited for both the conference and the workshop. Abstracts of around 100 words should be emailed to Jonathan Crowe (j.crowe@law.uq.edu.au) no later than 31 May 2011. Participants in the half day workshop will be asked to provide a full paper for circulation by the end of June.
