Professor Sossin is an acknowledged authority on the scope of prerogative powers and the role of the courts in overseeing their limits. He is the author of the leading text, Boundaries of Judicial Review: The Law of Justiciability (2nd ed, Carswell, 2012).

Professor Sossin is in Australia to deliver the opening address at the AIAL National Conference in Canberra on 18 July 2013 and has kindly agreed to speak in Sydney on the issue of justiciability.
